Maverick had his tongue tie and lip tie released on February 1st. I cannot express how impressed I was with the entire process at Dr. Thornton’s office. The procedure was 10 minutes or less and recovery was very simple! Since birth, we have struggled with latching issues breastfeeding. Maverick was also struggling with severe reflux and colic. Paige Gailor at IMPC in New Albany noticed that Maverick might have a lip/tongue tie and referred us to Ginny Swindoll. Ginny Swindoll at Irby Psychology was so thorough and recognized all of the symptoms and sent us to Dr. Thornton. So, all this to say, if your baby is struggling, I highly recommend listening to your momma gut and having it checked out. Chris and I are so grateful for everyone who helped us discover the reasoning behind why our sweet boy was struggling. Every person we have come into contact with during this journey has been absolutely amazing!!
